🌿🦋 A nice collaboration between our 7th and 8th grade science classes led by Ms. Drake, and the Greenhouse Guardians led by Mrs. Geerdes! Together, they finished up our butterfly garden just in time for the end of the school year. Can't wait to see how this garden grows and expands in future years! 🌼✨ #ButterflyGarden #ScienceRocks #Teamwork #FutureReady

8th grade Barbie Bungee Day!
📝The goal: Give Barbie a thrilling ride while ensuring her safety.
📈The plan: Drop Barbie from smaller heights, create a scatterplot, and use the trend line to figure out how many rubber bands needed to drop Barbie from 30 ft!
8th grade FACS students learned to make banana muffins, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin bars, puppy chow, and rice krispie treats this year. Students also learned to repurpose old t-shirts and make them into a handy bag.
7th grade FACS: Learned to make scrambled eggs, fried eggs, grilled PB&J or grilled cheese sandwich, and mac n' cheese this year. We have many 7th graders who are quite the chefs!
Students cashing in the last of their Paw Point for the year to take a photo with their friends!
The past two days have been a lot of fun. Mark Miller and I are both retiring at the end of this year and were honored yesterday with our year-end staff celebration party after school where we also celebrated the staff who are leaving for other reasons: Kelly Gabel, Keagan Houston, and Sadie Poppens. Yesterday was also "dress like Mrs. Keninger" day. Mark wasn't left out of the dress up activity. Today was "dress like Mark" day. So much fun to be a part of this staff! Mark and I are going to miss all of you!

It was the perfect day to visit the HS and enjoy a grill out at Prairie Bridges with the 8th grade class. We are sure going to miss having this class at the middle school!
The day was so beautiful, these 4th Gr. Library students took advantage of their final days of school by reading outside. An idea was generated to create a relay race using I Spy books. They ran to the wall and back and then found an item in the book before passing the "baton"!
A little rain didn’t stop the Kindergarten classes from having fun on their field trip to Hartmann Reserve!
