Day THREE of 2nd Semester High School Computer Science and this group conquered the spontaneous "Why is Computer Science an educational requirement in 2025" mock trial. They argued that "Computers and technology have been integrated into every sector of the economy" and "CS helps us become better planners, problem solvers and thinkers". Congratulations to the victors! *Melanie won overall best argument giver. HAH.


Please Join us on Wednesday, January 22, from 5:30-6:30 PM in the High School Commons for a FAFSA workshop designed to help Seniors and their parents navigate the financial aid process. Advisors from Ellsworth's financial aid office will be available to answer your questions and assist with completing the FAFSA.


REMINDER-Cougar Cheer Clinic TODAY, 1/8 2-5. If you have not sent payment with your child, please send it today or you can give it to Coach Haupt when you pick up your child! For the kids needing shuttle from Ackley to Wellsburg, the bus should be back to Wellsburg about 5:20 pm. An info sheet for Friday's performance will come home with your child after the clinic today! Thank you to Mr. Abbas and a few of the FFA officers for sharing the baby pigs and teaching the kindergarteners about how pigs stay warm in the winter. Listening to a story about pigs at Christmas and getting the chance to pet them topped off our learning.
